We were bitten by the Quilling bug back in the early 1980s. Very quickly, Jane was teaching quilling in adult Education classes. We soon found that we couldn't buy strips in the weight of paper and variety of colours we thought best so we started to make our own strips.

By 1982 we had started a small business because people were asking us to send strips and designs to them. We were careful to heed the response of our students (Yorkshire folk do not mince words) and have since striven to produce papers, designs, books, kits and videos which you can use most effectively and happily to enjoy the craft we love. Our wide range of colours and widths of strips is, we believe, the most comprehensive in the world. Most of our strips are 45cm long (just under 18") and there are mostly 150 strips in a pack. As many people use half a strip or less to make a quilling shape, this craft must be one of the cheapest to enjoy. Look out for our Half Packs, too, of many of our 5mm and 10mm strips. You can still 'buy 10 Half Packs and get an extra free' and they also help towards discounts.

We cut all our papers to any width you choose. We edge a selection of strips with shiny metallic gold, silver, holofoil and copper effects, as well as metallic colours and pearl effects. We can make packs of strips to your requirements, or edge any of our colours with any of our edges, as long as you take the minimum amount we need to make.

We offer visiting teaching workshops to groups in the UK of 25 to 40 or so, from absolute beginners, to the most advanced. You arrange the room, tables and chairs and we bring the day's experience, all the materials you need, and lots of fun to you.

We were founding members of the International Quilling Guild, have served on the committee and are honoured to be joint Vice Presidents. We really recommend joining the Quilling Guild, whether you are experienced or just a beginner. It's an inexpensive way of receiving three colour magazines each year with designs and news from the regions and countries, letters, chat, etc. You will be able to contact a Regional Representative, who may organise workshops or a chance to meet other quillers, and there are displays and competitions at the Annual General Meetings held around Britain.
